Not so grotesque
TGIF is the only acronym besieging my mind esp on Friday's. After a very long time there will be a weekend when i dont have any plan :).
Ambling back to house, a shrill voice pierce through my half dead ears. Someone was blowing the whistle, I looked up saw a group of people in light blue clothes (awesome they all were wearing same color of clothes). Coming towards me, being highly skeptical and sensed some coconey. But nothing of that sort happened and a short guy, partly bald, gave me some pamphlet, I watched their back until they disappear in dark in bated breath and resumed my walking.
Ooh gosh, let me see, there were two pieces of paper, with Gandhiji on top left. But tomorrow is Nehru B'day, don't they even know that much!! I looked down and saw an alien looking guy with folded hands, full of inauspicious innocence and clandestine eyes. Then I saw a person with the finger, Dr. Ambedkar, and small whistle, still audible, and suddenly I was enlighten, election are coming in Hyderabad.
I will be not writing what was written on pamphlet, not because I am frugal, but because I am inept in Telugu, in which all the contents were written (apart from some numbers and MLA).
So there were an alien, Gandhiji, the finger man, a whistle, now there was an MLA potrait, looks like an educated young fellow.Blue color agenda was clear (so was the pamphlete color). But the most striking thing about the pamphlet was a cartoon. Really nice and well potrayed. There was a cow, Indian cows are still very sacred, and there were people feeding the cow. Facial expression clearly demonstrated that they were exacted too much from cow. There were all kinds of people having their share of grass in their hands, portray of farmers, engineer, doctors, shopkeeper etc etc. And there were two people having the full conrol at the other end of the cow. They were milking the cow and defintely deluging the pot they were filling. Eyes closed indifferent, from everyone else just milking the cow and extracting as much as they can. Small calf was tied nearby with mouth close feeling wistful for milk. (There were captions under each of these characters). So I got the summary and again (I guess it was seventh time today) started thinking about government, politics, society, and utopian egalitarian society.
Heresy is the only way I see to get things sorted out else ignoring all the harbinger soon we will be inept to be even vindictive.
