Winding up my busiest month of life I finally got the opportunity to get in position for second inning. This doesn't seem much different from Cricket. Either I will be bowled out, or I win or the third option is still alive There will be a draw. Any options I face I have to play. There is no backing out left :).
Now around four weeks are passed and I am finally acclimating myself, I still don't feel much changes expect now I stay awake late night studying rather watching series or movies.
Looking back I recall two most important incidents till now
1. The welcome week, the long standing ceremony of IIM-A. It was something different and really savoring. Tastes good only if you are on the other side of table and you know you have cooked an excellent dish. On the side I was, I was eating it loosing my gustation.
and
2. There are hell lot of courses and hell lot of reading material. But one course which is different from any other is understanding ethics. Course is a bit more philosophical and requires deep understanding of human nature. But one lecture has left a deep impact which I believe I will carry on throughout my life henceforth. The character of Krishna is Mahabharata is well understood by me, but I missed the most important point in his character. The strong ability of playing finesse. There are not always three ways to do things,
a. Just Do It
b. Flight
or c. Fight
but there is one more and much more important way to do things that you face all through your life. The art of finesse and tactics to do it. Two characters of Mahabharata tried to play finesse throughout their life Karna and Krishna and both got different results. So it is not just the finesse but the way you play it.
Hope apart from nonsensical thoughts I have imbibed in me reading Mahabharata I will carry one more teaching from it The Art of Finesse.
